Tranparent selling
Collectivault’s model is founded entirely on transparency. The innovative 0% buyers' fee ensures that buyers can be confident the amount they bid is what they will pay. This will naturally encourage more bids and result in higher revenue for sellers working with Collectivault.
Seller fees are structured to eliminate hidden costs often linked with selling lots at auction and to ensure items reach a global audience of buyers. Greater visibility attracts more interested parties, resulting in more bidders and higher revenue. Each item available for sale will have a tailor-made marketing campaign crafted by Collectivault’s in-house team of experts. For some sellers, there will be an option to arrange a professional video shoot with a production team to showcase the items, their emotional significance, and the stories behind them.
In addition to the above, the fee structure covers all listing, insurance, logistics, legal, authentication, and storage fees, removing any grey areas often associated with auction sales.
As an extra incentive for sellers, Collectivault will allow up to six items per seller to be sold annually, and the commission payable will be based on total sales revenue over the year, rather than on individual sales.
Collectivault was created to support grassroots initiatives worldwide. All sellers must make a mandatory 10% donation of the hammer price to a grassroots initiative of their choice that promotes local development for young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to thrive or access opportunities reserved for those with the means to do so. In most cases, sellers will be able to claim this charitable donation back in tax relief, depending on the tax laws around charitable giving in your territory. Please contact your tax advisor for advice.
